Stefan is our CTO and responsible for engineering, strategy and steering the company.

He has been talking to computers for almost 40 years now; most times, they are listening. After all this time, Stefan is still passionate about the performance aspect of software. Waiting for computers to respond, them being sluggish or simply falling way short of their potential is just offensive. That applies to ease-of-use as well: Every click is 10 Euros. And up.

Professionally, he has been designing, implementing and contributing to a whole range of applications, from classic embedded signal data processing over object oriented data storage, project management tools and integrated HW/SW solutions to L4 autonomous vehicles and open source version control systems. All that experience built an intuitive understanding of these systems that helps to focus and guide our team.

Over the years, he also formed strong opinions about the process of software and system development. Feel free to prove him wrong.
